Location:
From the Hancock County Courthouse, take Hwy 22 southwest for 7.2 miles to Devereux. Turn right (at the backwards fork) onto Main Street. Go 0.2 mile to the dead end and turn left onto Jones Chapel Rd. Go approximately 3-1/2 miles to a driveway is on the left side of the road just slightly past Walls Cemetery, which is on the right. Turn left at the driveway, gain permission, and drive/walk 0.1 mile. The possible cemetery will be on the side of the driveway.

Cemetery Status: Inactive
This cemetery is located on the Dept of Transportation map of the county, but it was not definitively found as part of this survey. Currently there are planted, young pines in the area where the cemetery was indicated. One promising cemetery area approximately 50 feet by 20 feet, with a few scattered bricks and what appeared to be 2-3 depressions, could be found at the GPS location indicated. A local resident (now deceased) recalled that there was once a cemetery in this area.
